There [was] more upstairs

Heading back towards the entrance, here's a look towards the escalators to the upper level, the underside of which was adorned with a large "There's More Upstairs" decal. I'm not entirely sure what the point of this sign was, since to get to this point you would have had to either walk past the escalators (from the 4th Ave entrance) or go down them (from the 3rd Ave side). I suppose there are always clueless people out there, but would clueless people actually look at signs? Most people I know -- who I certainly would think are smart enough to figure out what an escalator is for -- seem to habitually ignore any sort of sign in a retail setting... 🙂
