Furniture

The back of the lower level was home to the store's drab (but fairly large for Bed Bath & Beyond) furniture section. This seems to be one of the signs of a larger-than-average Bed Bath & Beyond, which this store certainly was. For the price they were asking for this stuff, you'd think they would be able to make this area look a bit nicer -- heck, this barely looks nicer than a new furniture-focused Big Lots! Sure, it probably looked better before the closing, but there isn't much that can be done with worn-out carpet (I'm very much sticking to my position that carpeting in a retail environment is never a good idea!), ugly florescent light fixtures hung at random angles, and slatboard walls adorned with fading photos.
