Stepping past the bakery, here's a view of the rest of the back wall. As you can already see here, the back wall is made up of various alcoves and protrusions, all of which have their own, completely unique, decor theme. The layout looks quite weird in this picture, but it seemed to make more sense in person for whatever reason. (And I suppose it's similar in some ways to the typical Safeway back wall, just with completely different departments in the alcoves and protrusions.) The "Breakfast" sign on the bakery display off to the right is one of the only traces of Safeway's current Modern decor to be found in this store, which has remained almost entirely Albertsons, even if it's not entirely Grocery Palace.
