Most of the store looks more like this, with the decor removed and patched, and the decade-and-a-half of damage do the soffits starting to be repaired. This store seemingly hadn't seen even spot repainting since the 2004 remodel, and many of these spots were looking quite banged up -- especially with how busy this store is, I don't know how Safeway thought it was a good idea to wait this long to remodel it.
