Unlike the weird overstock situation over at Greenwood, this store's bakery was emptying out as expected. The "Final Price" signs on the cases are pretty interesting, as they weren't present at Greenwood and aren't printed on typical Safeway sale sign paper (in fact, it looks to be just beige printer paper!). They also look to be handwritten, which is normal at store closings of course but which wasn't done much at Greenwood. All these contrasts between two stores from the same company closing at the same time was pretty surprising, and makes me wonder if the closings were just being handled by the normal store employees rather than by an outside company as often seems to be done.
