Out in the back reaches of the parking lot was one of the homeless people's carts, which I guess no one ever bothered to pick up. This one was particularly interesting as one of the very old silver metal type, possibly original to the store and long since replaced with blue plastic and later black metal as the standard Albertsons cart design. I imagine this one probably stuck around as a backroom cart before being brought out in the store's final days to mitigate the store's cart shortage, only to be stolen itself at some point and abandoned in the parking lot.
