Finally, with the third poster, we finally get a good view of one of the neighborhood's very old Safeway stores, back when the company was still called "Safeway Stores" (or at least that's what the sign says). Surprisingly little has changed over the decades in the heart of Greenwood, so I was quickly able to identify the old store as this building, now home to a fairly well-known cafe. (On the other side of the street, the story's much different -- after a massive gas explosion a few years back, that area's still little more than a hole in the ground. In slide 16 from that link, you can see the original Safeway in the top left with all the glass in the front gone.)
