Sad, sad bakery

This store had what has to be one of the saddest service bakery departments out there, consisting of just a small hole in the wall space tucked into the extreme front left corner. The whole setup just looks haphazard, with a coffin case for cakes and stuff instead of a normal, fancier display case, random packaged baked goods in something that looks an awful lot like a donut case, and a fairly bare-looking service case, under a bulkhead with almost all of its signs missing. Off to the left, what should be some of the department's prime real estate along the front wall was taken up with soda in a case that seems too small for its spot -- on the whole, it just feels like Albertsons didn't know what to do with this space when they remodeled this store. While this place gets more presentable beyond this point (at least a little bit...), the depressing feel never quite wore off for the rest of my time here.
