Permanent toys

Meanwhile, the toy department has been moved again, to what appears to be its permanent home in the back left corner of the clothing department. As I've mentioned before, the plans showed it going off to the left of this picture in the middle of the department, but all the work done on this area (including removing the carpet and fixing the concrete floor, and installing fancy lighted shelving for the toys) makes me highly doubt that will happen. Presumably, the area off to the right of this picture where the toys had been temporarily located will be the new sporting goods section, which was also supposed to move in to the area off to the left. No clue why they would have changed this at the last minute, but it will give the department wall space to hopefully have a sign on.
