According to the news coverage of this place, Tutta Bella convinced QFC to let them take over the design of their space, which is why it doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the decor. (Not that there's anything wrong with that -- it does still look quite nice!) Again, more on this later, but this was actually a rather late addition to the store -- this was originally supposed to be the "Kirkland Kitchen", the store's QFC-brand prepared foods department (and clear descendant of Main & Vine's Gig Harbor Kitchen).
