I absolutely love the shiny-tile signs used for the pharmacy, a department that is often missing in the converted Albertsons stores. Sadly, they never quite show up great in pictures, and something about the lighting here really didn't make the picture turn out. Oh well, at least they installed proper lighting to make this sign really shine, unlike some other remodeled Safeways I've seen. Also of note, none of the old casework here was replaced, meaning it doesn't really work all that well with the decor (that tan countertop really doesn't seem at home here), but I suppose I'll have to get used to it since they seem to be planning to keep going with these cheap remodels.
