One of the features attracting lots of attention was the live mushrooms display, featuring mushrooms from a local farm. I had to wait around for several minutes for the area to clear enough for me to get this picture! That being said, it seemed to be mostly idle attention, as I didn't see anyone buying them (though the empty spots may indicate that some people had gone for it after all).
That's interesting, and certainly gets the point of "Love local" across, as you can't get much more local than produce grown within the store itself!
ReplyDeleteHa, true! Though they did have a sign listing what farm these came from, so I guess they weren't thinking of it that way 🙂
