Aisle 1, next to aisle, uh...

As would be expected with a strange layout like this, this store uses some creative aisle numbering. The aisle numbering starts off to the left of the windy actionway and loops around to end with aisle 19(!) up front by cosmetics. Even more strange is the mystery aisle next to aisle 1, with its completely blank aisle marker. I'm not sure if there was once intended to be something special about this aisle, but it seems to be currently used as just another seasonal aisle, similar to aisle 1 with its normal aisle marker. The category plaque part looks like it's just had all the plaques removed, but the actual aisle number part looks like something custom. I don't recall having seen this anywhere else, so I suppose it's just going to be another one of those retail mysteries...
