One thing that's a bit difficult to discuss is how clearly 50s concepts of racial (everyone's white) and gender norms are built in to this decor. It's not something that you could normally get away with today, but it kind of works here seeing as this decor really reads as a caricature of 50s stereotypes. I certainly wouldn't accuse the designers of doing anything wrong, but it is certainly notable, especially with how much the last few years have shown that these concepts are still ingrained in far too many people. This comment probably isn't going to get a good reception and I should probably just drop it, but it is something that really stood out to me walking around this store and looking at all the images in use.
