The whole shopping center was done up in this very 80s brick cladding -- no great loss now that it's gone! (Modern brick is probably my least favorite architectural material -- it always manages to come across as oppressive in a way that nothing else does to me.) It's even worse with the massive display of plants we saw last time missing; QFC must have decided to skip that here this year with the impending closure. Sadly, the neon signs above the door really didn't turn out in this picture, but they are surprisingly visible in the one linked above.
