Closer...

This store looks a lot like many other new retail spaces in the northwest, with a faux-rustic look that helps suburbanites pretend they aren't living in what was relatively recently wild forest land. It's the same sort of style that we saw at the Snoqualmie Ridge Safeway, and seems to be the default style for many different chains in the area. Clearly, I'm not a huge fan of the concept, but on an individual level it's certainly a lot nicer than the boring boxes that were long the default Fred Meyer style.
