Bread and jewelry

This space here would likely have once been the mall's "main" atrium; at least, it's the largest one, and is in the center of the original part of the mall. However, there's nothing much of interest in here these days. Originally, the main mall entrance to Gottschalks would have been off to the right (roughly where the jewelry store is today), but the replacement tenants (which we'll get to later) ended up closing down the mall entrance. At least this one was covered over seamlessly, unlike some others we'll see later on...
