A dismal hall

Heading around the corner, we find the one section of the mall that certainly does have a dead-mall feel to it. With the main anchor tenant here no longer having a mall entrance, and the "junior" anchor tenant replaced with a low-end furniture store, there's really nothing to draw people down this way. Following the standard dead mall pattern, this led to quite a few of the inline tenants in this corridor closing down or relocating elsewhere in the mall, and the ones that are left aren't exactly high-end mall material. Adding to the dreary feel, most of the lights on the left side of the hall were flickering off and on when I was here, and some were out completely -- deferred maintenance not seen in the rest of the mall. It really felt like everyone had given up on this wing, and yet it doesn't even seem to be impacted by the redevelopment proposals.
