Yep, the liquor category markers have been replaced with ones featuring Safeway's current promotional signage font. That's nothing unusual -- the same thing has happened in many Safeway stores over the last year -- but this time, they chose to mimic the original PF&H wave shape, rather than using the generic rectangular ones that have shown up in Safeways. I'm certainly not complaining, but it does seem like a lot of effort to go to to match a style that's been retired for the greater part of a decade now...
Yep, definitely strange! I've seen some other instances of stores purposefully matching the existing décor packages, but nothing to this level of detail. Certainly cool to see, but still... weird!
