The same straight and narrow quality of the back aisle that made it feel so long also made it incredibly difficult to get good pictures of the department signage along the back wall. The meat sign here is a good example of the overall decor here -- rather simple, but still fairly elegant and certainly not overly cheap looking. Notably, the little ads along the meat case here are from the current Safeway (and Albertsons, I suppose) Brown Decor graphic design style. They're nice in their own way, but certainly don't fit in all that well with this decor package.

Note also the bottom of the aisle marker here. Instead of being open to the structure inside, these have a woodgrain infill panel on the bottom, which is a nice little touch. You'd think that attention to detail would mean that they are well built, but apparently not...
